This is an excellent ball , I love how it tracks down lane and how it breaks right at the last minute. I currently have mine drilled at 45x4.5x25 and makes the ball have great back end and it hit heavy through the pins.

I drilled my Blizzard Whiteout with a LONG pin distance - the pin is almost in my track area - and it has turned out to be a great transition/drier lane ball. It gets down the line nice and easy at the box finish, then the big core takes cover for a smooth, strong move and great continuation through the pindeck. This would be a great middle-of-the-road (not overly strong but definitely not "weak" or entry-level performance) asymmetrical piece for someone wanting to give the California Bowling family of brands a try.

Absolutely love the ball. Does exactly what I hoped. Drill 10 X 4 X -20

Non staffer... So no fluff, while I do love the ball... I absolutely needed to adjust the surface. 4k, the ball is just a dud unless you're on dry.. so adjust the surface, and I believe you'll find yourself a mainstay in the bag

This ball is very close to the Blizzard Meltdown, so I went with a different layout to see what we could do with this monster. As someone who bowls on sport shots quite often, I wanted something that I could get a urethane look without actually throwing urethane.

We went with an 80 x 2 x 30 layout. The 2" pin gives me the opportunity to get on top of the shorter patterns and not worry about over hook. However, on a house shot, this layout and ball gives me a nice smooth even roll like you would see out of a urethane ball. Definitely a great piece to keep in the bag at all times.

Regional Staffer no thumb, one handed bowler, 14.5-16.5 mph.
500+ Rev -rate
This ball reminds me a great deal of the Blizzard Blast not quite as Angular off the spot perhaps
Hitting power is exceptional messenger pins that fly low and really do their job. Very good ball as are all under the Lord Field brand name

No thumb,15-17 mph around 500 rev rate . The Whiteout is very strong and powerful smooth through the mid-lane but highly aggressive off the spot. This Pearl will need a good amount of oil to perform well. If you like aggressive you'll like this ball.
